Because it is important for chiropractors to examine a patient’s spine thoroughly, X-rays are regularly used to identify bone structure and help identifying soft tissues diseases. Utilizing this technology the doctor is able to better assess your health condition and formulate a specialized care plan. 

As always, pregnant patients and children must exercise extreme caution when encountering X-ray. Patients should always discuss with their doctor the number of films needed to be taken and any prior films that have been taken in the last twelve months.
